The client is TSN, a leading billboard advertising company that markets products on vehicles across the United States. TSN needed a web application with geo-location, communication, and business management features. This platform was needed to facilitate easier internal communications within the company and coordinate day-to-day activities with greater efficiency. The application needed to be secure with a user-friendly interface that didn’t have too much of hardware requirements.
Geo-Location of Trucks
OSP built the customized application for TSN with a feature for knowing the real-time location of all its trucks. This made it easier for the management to decide viable routes for advertising campaigns and improve the overall impact of each campaign. By knowing which truck has been to which location, it is easier to adjust the marketing activities accordingly.
This is a feature to streamline all the activities handling customers and their requirements. OSP added this feature to help TSN add new customers, obtain their information, classify them according to parameters like type of advertising required, size of campaign, as well as the product or service to be marketed.
OSP included a module for managing orders to enable the management at TSN to have a consolidated means of handling activities around orders. Using this, the administrators can have a complete view of all orders, process them, and filter them according to pre-set parameters to make it simpler to develop campaigns.
Handling an advertising campaign is a slow and time-taking process. But it would be easier if the management could track the campaign in real-time. OSP’s platform allows this by offering a feature to obtain real-time updates of every campaign and every truck whenever required. This is a great tool for coordinating activities and making changes on the fly if necessary.
This is yet another feature that the client wanted for improving the efficiency of workflows as well as the operational productivity. A module for vendor management simplifies the process of filtering searches at the granular level and streamlines the workflows that are associated with vendors such as communication, services, and so forth.
Managing a fleet of trucks and running advertising campaigns is as much a feat of creativity, as it is a feat of logistical management. Managing clients, crafting campaigns, coming up with slogans, designing posters, deciding the locations of advertising, handling payments from clients, and so on.
